LPOIC Members Meeting 5-13-20
Attending: Dale Greene, Dave Gillespie, Barb Gillespie, Bob Snider, Will Crook, Donny Endicott, Melanie Endicott, Jake Howerton, Kevin Elmore, Larry Eng, James Mullen, Elton Dawson, Joe Bouroncle, Randy Henderson, Marianne Henderson, Nancy Spenser, John Spenser and Gary Thompson.
Minutes from 4-8-20: Read and accepted.
Correspondence: None.
Mack of the Month: April 9.06# 29” entered by David Steinbach but won by Bob Snider 9.28# 28”. May lead by 12.53# 30” weighed today by Don Hale.
MOY paid. 25# Patches handled.
Scholarship Committee: Grant Hillen picked up 9 applications and forwarded them to the committee. One from Priest River was received earlier. Have to be decided by 5-21 so Will Crook is arranging a Zoom meeting next week to finalize.
James Mullen is working to memorialise Jack from Holiday Shores who recently died. Maybe an auction to pay for a memorial around the tree in the parking lot? Still early stages, contact James with ideas.
James Mullen was approached by the talk show host on the local FM station about discussing LPOIC,s stance on Walleye, Pike and other predator fish.
Kevin Elmore saw IDF&G new and improved Fish ID pictures.
Kevin Elmore won the door prize. Donated the $30 to the Food Bank.
Last check to the Food Bank in Athol was returned for bad address. Will is getting it corrected.
Dustin Mason is the new F&G Warden on L. Pend Oreille.
