LPOIC Members Meeting 12-12-18
Meeting led by Kevin Elmore.
Pledge of Allegiance
Attending: Grant Hillen, Barb Gillespie, Dave Gillespie, Gale Belgarde Sr., Dave Ivy, Clint Nicholson, Dan Harder, Don Endicott, Elton Dawson, Dale Greene, Will Crook and Kevin Elmore.
Minutes of 11-14-18 read by Dale G. and accepted.
Correspondence: None
Mack of the Month: Becky Sturgis won Nov. 22.6# 38 ½”. Dale G. leads December 7.22# 25”.
Pin Update: Modified to single fish, approved, going out.
Critique of Fall Derby and Awards Ceremony: Generally positive.
Thank you letters to sponsors: Will C. and Barb G. will make a template. Ryan Roslak will do the Juniors and Kevin Elmore will do the Youth sponsors.
Dave and Barb G. will send out Membership renewal forms and include info on Scholarships.
Scholarship discussion: Consensus to give four $500 scholarships in 2019. Clint will email Board Members proposed criteria, such as priority to repeat for last year’s recipient and preference for a relative of a Club Member on one scholarship.
Nominee for President: Nothing.
Open forum:
Fish and Game Log Books will be larger, three ring binder size.
Dave Ivy needs to bring Bonner County Fall Derby Permit to put in file and check with Pierce Auto for donation mod.
Clint Nicholson will set up Calendar of Events for Facebook, Newsletter and Website, check with Dave and Barb G. to confirm.Door Prize was won by Elton Dawson. $30 Gift Certificate to North Forty.
Tackle Share: Three Twogills flys went for $10 each.
Dan Harder brought a $250 check for the Scholarship Fund!
Food Bank Collection.
