LPOIC Members Meeting 11-14-18

Kevin Elmore led meeting.

Pledge of Allegiance

Attending: Dale Greene, Will Crook, Anne Crook, Dave Gillespie, Barb Gillespie, Clint Nicholson, Gale Belgarde, Cheri Belgarde, Gary Thompson, Elton Dawson, Jake Howerton, Larry Eng, James Mullen, Kevin Elmore and Dave Ivy.

Minutes of 10-10-18: Reading Waived, Posted Online.

Mack of the Month: Dale G. reports Gale Belgarde Jr.’s Halloween Derby winner won October at 12.82 pounds and 30.5 inches.

Correspondence: Calvin Nolan brought suit against LPOIC, LPOIC Officers and one Board Member. Served at the beginning of this meeting.
Motion made to defend vigorously by Treasurer Will Crook, second by Larry Eng. Unanimous support from present Board and Officers. Dave and Barb Gillespie were asked to engage lawyer at this point.

Volunteer for Presidency? Crickets, no suggestions.

Introduction of Will Crook as new Treasurer.

Fall Derby:
Mall reservation confirmed.
Trophies confirmed with Eydee.
James M. will order ½ cake, water and pop at Super 1, Will C. will pickup and pay.
Jacket, hat and pin as Door Prize.

Will Crook’s firm will cover cost of Photo Contest.
Dave I. will provide sound system.
James M. will take freezer to Hope.
Dale G. will bring fish pans and fish.
Mall set up at 5:30 PM.December 1.

Fish Verification 11-26-18
Pick up packets,count tickets, count monies, match fish with weigh slips and get winners names to Eydee.
Dale G. will pick up Awards.

Pin Design Contest
Belgarde family brought four designs to be voted on.
Ying/Yang won.( Cheri B.)
Clint N. will give update on progress 11-28-18 Board Meeting.

Dave Gillespie has filed LPOIC Derby permit applications and will mail by 11-27-18. Same dates as usual, Members Only Derby September 21 and 22.

Dave I. will get with Larry E. and Will C. for red Club Board shirts.

Fish and Game wants Logbooks anytime and fin rays the end of October through December.

Food Bank collection.

Tackle Share: 3 spinners donated by Dave I. went for $10 to Gary Thompson.
Gary Thompson flies: Black/blue and Purple/pink/gray went to Elton Dawson, Tan/red/tan went to Larry Eng for $10 each.
