LPOIC Board Meeting 3-27-19
Attending: Dale Greene, Gale Belgarde, Barbara Gillespie, Dave Gillespie,, Larry Eng, Donny Endicott, Grant Hillen, James Mullen, Stan Lefever, Kevin Elmore and Will Crook.
Grant Hillen Moderating
Correspondence: Roger Blackstone requests membership reinstatement.
Guest Speaker: Susan Drumheller on applying for Grants. All grants from Avista must impact mitigation of negative effects of Cabinet Gorge Dam. Matching Private funds greatly improve odds. November 1st is Avista deadline for grant application. Some of our areas of interest include opening up the mouth of Lightning Creek, supporting new anglers and juniors, scholarships and water and shoreline cleanup.
Derby/Auction Update Auction Items Newsletter/Derby Packets- Ready to distribute Pins- Late again, 76-100 missing. Will call Dale G. when here.
Scholarship Update: Grant H. will look into.
Lake Level Letter from LPOIC? To Governor, Army Corps of Engineers, BPA and Bureau of Reclamation.
Lake Commission Meeting at Priest River Event Center, 9:00 AM to Noon 3-28-19.
IDF&G’s “State of the Lake” at Ponderay Event Center 6:00PM-8:00PM 4-4-19.
Donny Endicott appointed to Board for rest of 2018/19 term. Unanimous confirmation by Board.
Will C. made motion to allow Roger Blackstone to fish the two public Derbies. 2nd Dave G. Barb G. abstained, all others vote to allow.
Will C. motion to allow Roger B. to make a presentation as to why he should be allowed to rejoin Club, Club send letter in reply. 2ndDale G. Barb G. abstained, all others agree.
Will C. volunteered to compose a letter to Roger B. and share with Board. When Board confirms, response letter will be sent to Roger B.’s reinstatement request letter.
