    LPOIC Board Meeting 2-27-19

    Attending: Dale Greene, Gale Belgarde, Dave Gillespie, Barb Gillespie, Grant Hillen, Larry Eng. James Mullen, Kevin Elmore, Will Crook and Donny Endicott.

    Moderator: Grant Hillen.

    Spring Auction: At Elks, James Mullen Auctioneer, 4-26-19, no beverages, food ok, silent auction and standard mode to expedite evenings, details to be explored.

    Award Site will be Bonner Mall 5-11-19 at 7:00PM, 5:30 PM to set up.

    By-laws Update Vote: Vote to approve and post on web page. Kevin E. proposed, Larry Eng 2nd. Unanimously passed.

    Donate to Water Festival: Historically Club has supported this program. $500 proposed by Dave G. and 2nd by Barb G. Unanimously passed.

    Scholarship Program will be checked into by Grant H. (Clint Nicholson incommunicado)

    Mack of the Day Sponsors: R&R Logging, 2nd Avenue Pizza and Taylor Insurance so far.

    Molly McCahon of the Lakes Commission will attend 3-13-19 meeting to discuss lake level issues in regards to the Columbia River Treaty. Susan Drumheller, the Avista Grant Writer for projects on LPO will be present at the 3-27-19 board meeting.

    Management Committee Meeting at Edgewater March 12 and 13 at 9:00 AM. Dale G. and Will C. to attend along with LPOIC representatives Ryan R. and Dave G.

    Spring Derby
    4-27-19 through 5-5-19.
    Adult Rainbow 32” minimum.
    Junior Rainbow 28” minimum.
    Poster Dave G.
    Prizes same as Spring 2018.
    Scales halfway done.
    Newsletter to printer by 3-11-19 and to be distributed 4-1-19. (James M. will speak to Clint Nicholson about responsibilities going forward on newsletter, scholarship program, website and Facebook. Donny Endicott said again, that Melanie Endicott would be glad to help with Facebook)

    IDF&G Press Release regarding Walleye suppression/derby.
    Begins 3-1-19.
    50 “tiny invisible” tags in Walleye snouts worth $1000 each.
    $100 monthly for 10 drawn from walleye heads entered.
    No bag limit and no per head payback.
