LPOIC Board Meeting 11-28-18
Attending: Dale Greene, Gale Belgarde Sr., Grant Hillen, Barb Gillespie, Dave Gillespie, Will Crook, Kevin Elmore, Larry Eng and Dave Ivy.
Grant Hillen led meeting
Minutes from 10-24-18: Read by Dale G. and accepted.
Mack of the Month: Dale G. reports led by Becky Sturgis Fall Derby winner, 22.6# and 38.5”.
Treasurer’s Report: Will C. reports $54,293 in checking, net gain after Fall Derby $242. Treasurer’s report w/hardcopy.
Thanksgiving Derby Awards Ceremony
Bonner Mall 12-1-18 7:00 PM, setup 5:30 PM.
Dale G. will pay and pick up trophies.
Dale G. will pick up trays and display fish.
Barb G. and Will C. Masters of Ceremony.
Dave I. will supply the PA System.
Refreshments pickup Will C.
Patrick Elmore will help with Photo Contest.
Dave I. will sell clothing and 50/50 tickets.
Door Prize is coat with pin and hat.
Dave G. will provide programs.
Derby Critique: 216 Adult, 14 Junior, 18 Youth A, 24 Youth B. Small gain in each.Dave Gillespie appointed to Board. Kevin Elmore made the motion, Will Crook 2nd. All Board members present voted for.
Barb Gillespie on Board as Past President. All Board members in agreement.Lawyer Update: Info sheet accompanies hard copy, lists Insurance supplied Lawyer & overview.
New business for next Members Meeting
Scholarship update: Received new application forms.
Pin update: Work in progress, not ready for print.
Food Bank Christmas Donation: Drive at Awards and Member’s Meeting and Club match.
Gift for Editor:Clint N. made the Motion, Kevin E. 2nd, $40 Amazon Gift Certificate. Unanimous approval.
Think on 2019 Spring Derby.Next Members Meeting 12-12-18 Jalapeno’s 6:30 PM.
Skipping Board Meeting too close to Christmas.
