LPOIC Board Meeting 1-27-21 ZOOM

Attending: Dale Greene, Will Crook, Bud Bedry, Larry Eng, Melanie Endicott, Donny Endicott, Kevin Elmore, Dave Gillespie, Barb Gillespie, Robert Snider and Jake Howerton.

Correspondence: Request for support for Sheriff Dept. new outboards and sidescan search sonar.

Minutes from 10-28-20 read and accepted.

Mack of the Month for January so far Bert Dennet 3# plus.

Treasurer’s Report 2020: End of year $69,000– Revenue $49,000. 2019 End of year $78,000.
— Revenue $90,000. Biggest difference is there is no Spring Derby. Both include Halloween Derby.

Fall Derby Review: Permits will happen. Clubs will be required to follow guidelines.

Pin Auction: Lots of discussion. Fairgrounds would cost in the $300 range for Auction. Date undecided. Live Auction and online pin bids? Search for location if date chosen not available at Fairgrounds. Jake H. and Donny E. coordinating on Auction people and items. Try to forward items to Dave G. to keep a masterlist so it can be listed online. Morgan MacAden Meal Truck?

Spring Derby Format and Prize Package: As proposed last year except $500 Catch and Release per placing Rainbow. $250 Member’s Bonus per placing Rainbow. Mack’s as proposed except $250 for 10th. $50 entry adult. $10 entry Junior. 32’ adult minimum length. 28’ minimum Junior Class.

Newsletter Deadline: March 1st, but really needed by February Board Meeting 2-24-21.

Donny E. will talk to three overdue Fall donors.

Five small and three large scales need tax paid and recertification (2-10-21 bring to meeting)

Will Crook will be gone for months cruising the East coast. Bud Bedry volunteered to assist him while gone, Board appointment to be considered after 2-10-21 Member Meeting. Will shall bring a couple of 25# weigh slips to Meeting.

Open Forum: Kevin E. asked about possibility of 25# patches for Northern Pike.
