Got really wet Saturday morning starting out at Lee’s. Horrible weeds, sticks, logs and deadheads but no underwear! Cleaned up completely from Deadman on and started picking up a variety of fish. Ended the day lots better than recently with 15 fish! Four bull trout, one around ten pounds. Four pretty small Kokanee, all on top. Two small Macks, one down, one on the boards. And five Rainbow, all on top. Every fish on Apexes except the last two Rainbows, an 18″ on a pink/white fly and a 30″ 14 pounder on a red/white bear hair! First teen of the year!

Great job Front Rudder. Lake is a mess for sure. I was out Tues. & Wed, Tues. being a better day. However on Wed, I had a hog on for a while, pulling line straight down, never jumped. The Kams seem small, but boy are they fighters. Apexes are working well along with the black & silver Rapala’s. I think with the sun coming out, we will have to start dropping down a bit, but we shall see. That 14 lb. kam is a great start, lets hope for bigger ones to come…..
